I am a licensed psychologist (Arizona #PSY-004553) and I specialize in psychotherapy and evaluation services for children, adolescents, and young adults. I earned my Ph.D. at Colorado State University where my training was focused on child and adolescent psychopathology with a particular emphasis on treatment and assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders. I completed my internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Upon returning home to Arizona, I had the privilege of working at the Melmed Center before moving into private practice and eventually forming Gilbert Psychological Services.

I take a solution-focused approach to therapy and enjoy the role I get to play in helping individuals and their families identify strengths, define and understand challenges, learn new skills, mobilize support, and successfully reach treatment goals. I utilize empirically supported strategies, namely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate change.
